According to the FIRST website, "FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an exciting and fun international robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology in kids ages 9 to 14." FLL creates an opportunity for younger students to have hands on experience with solving problems through technology. Similar to the FIRST Robotics Competitions, students work with mentors to solve a new challenge each year and take part in competitions with other teams.
