Students

Students are the heart of our team. We encourage kids from all interest areas and skill levels. Our mentors work alongside them to provide needed guidance and leadership. Our team works hard to celebrate students of different backgrounds and cultures. Our goal is for all students to leave the team with enhanced knowledge, experience, confidence, and poise in all settings.

Mentors

Our mentors are the key to the success of the program. Students gain direct experience and begin their professional networking within our ranks. Mentors form long-lasting relationships with students to help them develop their potential and expand their horizons. Our mentors come from all areas of the engineering sector and business environments. They provide ongoing insight and guidance for student growth.

Volunteers

There is no such thing as a robotics team without volunteers! We can’t live without our volunteers; they support us in so many ways! From providing meals and helping to fill in by helping kids polish tasks, our volunteers are critical to our success.

Parents

Where would we be without our parents? They transport us, they support us, they are our biggest fans. And their lives are not complete without a new set of t-shirts every year! Our parents give us up for months at a time during build phase. They become so addicted to the WOBOT’s activities, that many of them report that their work hours are taken up with watching the matches on the web to catch a glimpse of their kiddos at play!
